I've always been interested in art. Drawing and painting in particular. Although I haven't always been able to focus my life in the direction of art, being an artist has always been in the back of my mind I was finally able to start to realize my dreams a few years ago when I got my first computer. When I discovered that people were actually doing art on their computers and not just playing games and writing e-mail, I was so excited! I convinced my husband that I needed a Wacom pen and tablet and several painting programs, as well as some 3D programs and I was set. I started making paintings and images using both the painting programs and the 3D programs. I've just recently found that I loved painting portraits. To take a photograph that someone treasures and transform it into an heirloom painting that can be hung in that persons home for years to come is the greatest.
